Guest It's been several years since I've had the pleasure of coming to the Glen Tavern Inn, years ago we would have company birthday lunches and it was always something to look forward to. I decided to take a couple days off to myself, I reside in the county, yet needed some R & R. I liked the prices, and decided to take the drive to Santa Paula. Greeted by a historic, deep wood, plush comfy seating and a nice reservation hostess, I checked in with ease. Plenty of parking in the lot to the west. Nice music in the lobby almost as if to prompt my experience during my stay. As I went up the stairs to my room, the signage left no confusion as to which direction I needed to head to find my room. Updated safety electronic locks and a fresh smelling, adorable studio room👍. The linens were as clean and fresh as was the room in it's entirety. The bed had comfortable pillows, memory foam mattress and blackout curtains! My rest was peaceful and most of all comfortable. I enjoyed dinner at Enzo's and opted for in-room dining, the Caprese was fresh, flavorful basil, delicious firm, ripe tomatoes with a tasteful dressing...well done. The Ceasar salad was fresh, chilled, crisp and had a nice thick creamy dressing with every bite seasoned. The Clam Chowder was not clumpy and thick, it was a nice consistency and with every bite something in the spoon, great flavors too. The soda was a good taste with clean ice. The bread fresh, buttered and portion size appropriate to not be wasteful. I'm glad to have had the privilege to stay and definitely recommend it to you. Oh..almost forgot..ADA compliant with signage in rooms alerting guests to steps and directions for use. Great job everyone! Keep up the good work!
What A WONDERFUL (WILD, haha) Stay | |

Guest To start, I was very skeptical (and scared) to stay at this Hotel. My large family (6+ rooms), myself and my daughter stayed for several nights as we were in town for my brothers wedding. All I can say is WOW. We all had a joyous stay and no ghosts bugged us, phew! Each night we went to the bar and James served us. Bernadette the Manager was beyond hospitable and was excellent and kind and super fun with all my family every single encounter. Maribel at the Front Desk was as pleasant and sweet as can be. She works her butt off and was hands-on every time we saw her. Manny in the resturaunt always called us by name and waited on us our last night in town. Most of use were due to checkout on Sunday, but a handful of us stayed another night because we enjoyed it so much. Anyhow, not sure why anyone would have anything bad to say about this Hotel or its employees. We ran into zero issues and highly recommend. 5 stars all the way around. Keep up the good work!
